Normally PECB is unable to accept students with special needs.

However, in rare cases, PECB may accept students with special needs taking into account if the College has the means and trained human resource available to cater to the special needs of the applicant. In those cases, the parents are encouraged to discuss the special needs in detail with the College before making an application.

Medium of instruction at PECB is English at all levels. Urdu language is taught to Pakistani students. Chinese language is also taught till grade VII. In addition to this there is an Arabic language class also after the school.

Prescribed text books and notebooks can be purchased from the College library after depositing the required sum in any branch of Bank of China. Small stationary items, such as pens, pencils and erasers are available at the College canteen.

College uniform may be purchased (or ordered) from a designated tailoring shop in SanlitunYa Show clothing market.

Slightly more than half of the students are Pakistanis. The rest come from various different nationalities of the world. Till last count, PECB had students from 58 countries of the world.

Most teachers are hired from Pakistan after a thorough process of scholastic and expertise tests and interview. Teachers are chosen from some of the best educational institutions of Pakistan. We have some Chinese teachers also but they can all speak fluent English. There are teachers from other nationalities too such as Nepal, Turkey and Nigeria.

Junior and Senior section students go for club/society activity within school timings. The College holds martial arts, Chinese language and Qura’n (Arabic) classes after school for the students of Junior section. However attending these classes is optional.
